Still Feel~Still Me...

was my first ever solo animation project, which also served as my High School Senior Capstone project.

Before starting the storyboard process, I unfortunately dealt with the loss of my grandmother, and for 3 weeks didn't continue due to the hardships I went through with my family. Through permission from my Capstone leader, the original idea for my project was scrapped and transformed into the video showcased today.

The main goal that was going on when working on this project was to convey the emotions I was feeling throughout my entire time grieving. I felt alone, I was severely depressed, and I even pressured myself to move on quickly due to the amount of work I had to accomplish as a senior.

When I presented my film, I was also openly presenting this to my mom, who suffered the most during our grieving, and whom I rarely shared my art with. She and along with the audience were shocked in awe by my creation(some even teared up)and my mom had finally realized how important my dreams in animation meant to me.

I would later receive an award for my project, which to this day still gives me immense joy and hope for my dreams of producing animated films and creative stories so I can continue to express myself when words never left my voice.
